Stompers have been around since the mids 80's - these are battery operated plastic cars and trucks that could be bought separately or as part of obstical sets. It was quite a surprise when 3 variations of the VehiCROSS appeared at Toys R Us and Kaybee toys. Look for black with green graphics; white with yellow, red and blue graphics; and gray with red and light blue graphics. These VX versions all came with an AA battery and there are no differences between the models as far as UPC or Model Number.

The black version of this Stomper is the most difficult to find and goes for the most on eBay. It appears to be the most desirable among collectors - the last set I placed on eBay - the black Stomper sold for over $100.

I'm not too fond of the gray - I think that Tinco should have done more of a silver tone like an Astral or Kaiser - that being said, the gray appears to be the second most desirable among collectors.

The white VX appears to be the most common - the yellow graphics approximate the Proton (as far as the cladding goes).
