|Mattel #5060 Mattel Eateries Assortment features the typical, cheap vinyl lunchboxes some of your friends used to carry in grade school. The vinyl is printed on both sides with the same graphic. More details on the Major Matt Mason lunchbox may be found under its listing. The assortment appears to have been a floor-standing box-style with a background graphic, probably die-cut, announcing Mattel's wonderful "NEW!" product.
An example of this assortment probably does not exist, as no one has come forth with an actual example and until recently, the existence of the Major Matt Mason lunchbox was in question..
The assortment probably came in a plain cardboard box with Mattel logo's and an assortment number printed on either end. As an existing assortment has not yet materialized, the packaging is unconfirmed and based upon packaging of other display items from the same period.
